Carnatic music is one of the oldest systems of classical music in the world, rooted in the devotional traditions of South India. Known for its intricate ragas, rhythmic patterns (talas), and improvisational depth, it is a living art form that blends technical mastery with emotional expression.
Students learn compositions from great composers such as Tyagaraja, Muthuswami Dikshitar, and Syama Sastri, alongside voice training, swara exercises, and alapana (improvisation).
